Concept illustration for ice cream parlor Brooklyn.
With the beginning of Summer in Brazil, the ice cream parlor Brooklyn is introducing three new flavors, inspired by its country. They are mint with chocolate, passion fruit and guaraná.
For its advertising, the shop required an illustrated poster with a youthful look, characters interacting with the ice cream and the fruits just complementing the characters.
The idea behind my solution was to communicate the feeling of hanging out with friends during the summer, enjoying the best of this season.
After some sketches on paper, I decided to have three main characters, each representing a flavor. They reflect the diversity of Brazil and wear fresh clothing to enjoy the warm weather.
Then, was time to arrange the characters in a more refined sketch, and bring my illustration to life.
Final piece
Additionally, they requested three stickers, one for each new flavor, to be used in their social medias.
My idea was to, using a simple yet charming animation, show each ingredient turn into their delicious ice cream, and then being consumed so the cup could be filled again! =)
